Petition God for your dream budget.
“The older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him. But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!' 'My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours.'"
- Luke 15:28-31 (New International Version)

A few weeks ago, God showed me a vision of poverty as if it were a guest in my house that I had been welcoming and making provision for; basically LIVING with. Poverty has been my roommate! After seeing that, I not-so-kindly told poverty to get tf out of my house in the name of Jesus (yes, I cussed at poverty cuz, tuh! bye!) and since then have been on a rampage to completely & irrevocably eradicate it from my mind, behavior, atmosphere, etc.
As part of that effort, I finished outlining what I'm calling my "dream budget", which represents what my life looks like when poverty is no longer a part of my narrative. It includes the next level of the lifestyle that I desire to live and everything associated with that life and how much it costs monthly as a line item in a spreadsheet. Today, I assembled a petition to God for it and, in the process of pulling it together, it dawned on me that although I've pretty consistently gone to God for help putting out various financial fires or for specific money-related projects here and there, I've never actually asked Him to give me my dream consistent flow of income (so that I didn't need to keep asking Him for little things here and there).
That realization brought to mind the brother of the Prodigal Son who we all know about from the story. He was all butt-hurt because his father never threw him a party when, as the father gently pointed out, he could've had a party thrown for him at any time. After all, the same things the dad was using to celebrate the Prodigal Son also belonged to the brother. And even though the father didn't say it directly in this passage, I sense that he was implying what I'm also implying to you right now:
Just ask.
It's already yours so just ask! If you can find it in the word, it already belongs to you. It's time to grow up, stop pouting about what you don't have and what God hasn't done, get into the Word of God—which is your inheritance—find out what it says you can have, meditate on it until you actually believe it, and then ask God for it (or rather, petition God for it!). I'll tell you one thing, just petitioning Him alone has brought so much peace and excitement to my heart! God's word is true and if you petition Him for something in it, it's yours! So again I say, petition Him!
I'm starting a series for the next few weeks (or however long God leads) called Radical Provision where I'll be sharing stories & keys from my own journey and experience receiving from God supernaturally. My hope with this series is to supercharge your faith that you can receive monetary provision from God supernaturally too, on a consistent basis. If you know anyone who could use this teaching, please forward them this email now (don't wait!) and encourage them to subscribe.

- Philippians 4:6-7 → if you are worried about money in any way and have been praying about it, I encourage you to actually PETITION God about it (the other activity that these verses tell you to do in addition to prayer), which looks a little different than just prayer. Here's an example of my "Dream Budget Petition" for reference. The scriptures I've included in this petition will also strengthen your faith in this area so definitely take some time to study them out! Also check out my live teaching on how to do this here.
- If you have a story about God's radical provision in your life, I encourage you to share it at #radicalprovisionstories Here's a few examples from my own life for context
