God will provide what you decide.

"He said to her, 'Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.'”

- Mark 5:34 (New International Version)

-----
I'm gearing up for an international trip to attend a good friend's wedding & to celebrate my birthday and, in the process of selecting my Airbnb's for the birthday celebration leg of the trip, I was met with two choices: the one I really wanted & the one that was more affordable. I have a history of choosing the more affordable options when I travel but this time, I chose the one I wanted because in this moment I realized that the money always comes for whatever I've chosen. So why not choose the thing I want!?

Now obviously, I don't mean be reckless with your decisions. I just mean, if you're going to go through the process of releasing your faith and doing the work for something, it might as be for the thing you actually want—not the bootleg version you're ok settling for. The woman with the issue of blood who is the "daughter" referred to in our text this week knew she wanted to be healed from her suffering for good. She didn't just want relief for the day or a partial healing, she wanted a whole healing ok!? How do we know that's what she wanted? Because that's what her faith pulled out of Jesus.

If you're frustrated with what you're receiving (or not receiving) from God, check your faith.

Jesus had no clue about this woman or her issue or what she was believing for. She just came up to Him like a healing vending machine, selected (or decided) what she wanted, paid for it with her faith and received it. That's what I'm sensing that God wants for us. If it's in His Word, His default answer is yes (2 Cor 1:20). You don't have to keep suffering if that's not what you want.

If you're living beneath the abundance God has for you in some area of your life, it's not God's fault, it's the result of your own choices.

What are you choosing? Are you choosing poverty? Are you choosing to be stuck? Are you choosing confusion? If you've been choosing less, but wanting more, change your choice! Choose to BE "freed from your suffering". And watch God provide what YOU decide.
